We LOVE our volunteers! Volunteers make it possible for our small staff to offer the wide variety of programs and services it does. So whether you are looking for a one-time or on-going opportunity for an individual or a group, BDCC has many ways to contribute, have a positive impact, and make a difference.

If you don’t see something you’re looking for, please ask. Many volunteers also help the Community Center in very specialized ways, such as providing expertise on marketing, computer help, helping with fundraising, or designing publicity materials. And we're always looking for volunteers to take on leadership roles. Please contact us by email blackdiamondcommcenter@yahoo.com or call at 360-886-1011 to apply for the programs that interest you most. All volunteers are required to complete a volunteer application.

Please download and complete.

Ways You Can Volunteer

Court-ordered Community Service
You can fulfill court-ordered community service requirements at BDCC, however, we are unable to work with those who have committed most felonies or any violent crimes. Although required by the court, your labor is very much appreciated!  When you call, please specify that you have court-ordered community service hours.

Days of Giving
The BDCC has opportunities for local groups, businesses and churches who wish to volunteer in their community by organizing service days at the Community Center. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year and also include Make a Difference Day on the third Saturday of each October.

Youth Programs
BDCC Youth Programs provide a variety of opportunities for youth to volunteer and provide service to their community. Adults may also volunteer as in such capacities as chaperones, mentors, instructors, and event judges to help with BDCC youth activities and events.
